All new employees commence their Wellways journey with a comprehensive orientation program that spans your initial months with us. The Wellways two-day orientation introduces the organisation – our history, mission, vision and values, through to our structure, our programs and our consumers. This is complemented by a local orientation that meets the location and program-based induction and training needs.
All new staff members also attend a three-hour workshop, which provides an overview of mental illness. This workshop is particularly useful for staff members who come to Wellways from other sectors.
Employees at Wellways receive 17.5% leave loading paid at the time of taking leave.
Wellways will make employer superannuation contributions according to legislative requirements to each employee’s nominated superannuation fund. Employees may also elect to make additional voluntary superannuation contributions, by speaking to their financial advisor and submitting their request through payroll.
