About this opportunity

We are looking for dedicated Support workers who can commit to building enduring relationships with clients in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. You will be required to help our clients to access and participate in their local communities, teach skills for daily living and provide psychosocial support.

About you

Building relationships with the individuals you support is a vital component of being a valued support worker. Therefore, having a friendly and supportive nature with a positive outlook on life is essential for this role.

Current students or Graduates from Allied Health disciplines are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Access to a reliable car with insurance to transport clients
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Disability (or similar) or be working towards relevant qualifications
  • A demonstrated interest in Mental Health is strongly preferred.

Satisfactory National Police Records Check, Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme (DWES) check Working with Children's Check and NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Worker Orientation Module Certificate:https://www.ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/support-for-workers/training-course are mandatory prior to commencement.

What we offer

Above award wages SCHADS 2.2 ($34.50 p/h). Penalty rates are available should you choose to work on weekends or after hours.
