Program Worker, Recovery and Rehabilitation

Do you have experience in the mental health field or with recovery-orientated practices? We are seeking a driven and motivated individual that shares our passion in helping others, to work in partnership with individuals, their families and carers to provide a range of non-clinical based support to assist the individual to achieve their recovery goals. The individual will benefit from receiving specialised psychosocial support, centred around their needs and goals.

The National Psychosocial Support Measure program is funded by the Commonwealth Government to provide psychosocial support services to assist people with mental health challenges, resulting in a reduction in psychosocial functional capacity.

About you

Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will go hand in hand with your demonstrated alignment with Wellways values. You will hold a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience and skills in providing high-quality recovery-orientated services to people experiencing mental health challenges.

The following pre-employment compliance requirements apply to the successful candidate:

  • Current and valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel
  • The right to work within Australia
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, Victorian Working with Children Check-employment, Disability Worker Exclusions Scheme clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate: https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/
